PE Kit Tracker with Yellow, Red & Pink Card System

A fully interactive and automated PE kit behaviour tracker designed for secondary school PE departments to streamline the monitoring of kit issues, reinforce high expectations, and reward positive behaviour through a clear and effective card system.

This Excel-based tool includes built-in dropdown menus, automated tracking, and colour-coded card categories to manage multiple classes from Year 7 to Year 10. Ideal for busy PE teachers, Heads of PE, or Behaviour Leads looking for a ready-to-use system to support both sanctions and rewards in PE.

How It Works:

Dropdown menus allow teachers to select which part of the PE kit is missing for each student (e.g. top, bottoms, trainers).

When an item is selected, the student automatically receives a Yellow Card.

If a student receives multiple Yellow Cards, they are automatically issued a Red Card — this can be used to trigger follow-up sanctions, parental contact, or referrals based on your school policy.

Teachers can also manually issue Pink Cards to reward students with full kit, excellent behaviour, or strong contributions in lessons.

Each card type is automatically totalled and displayed per student and class.

Covers Years 7–10:

Four separate year group tabs allow you to track multiple classes per year group.

Totals for Yellow, Red, and Pink Cards are calculated automatically at the bottom of each year group sheet.

You can duplicate a class block easily to add additional classes — all formulas are pre-set to update totals automatically.

Positive Reinforcement with Pink Cards:

Recognise students who consistently bring full kit or show outstanding behaviour.

At the end of each term, identify top-performing students in each year group by the number of Pink Cards and reward them through your department’s reward strategy.
