FAQ on logging in with Facebook and Google
In the coming weeks, we’ll be making a change to how you can log into Tes.com products by removing the option to sign in using your Google or Facebook account. Here you can find answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about the change. If you can’t find the answer to your question here, please get in touch with us. You can contact our help team by emailing help@tes.com.
What is happening?
We’re making your login experience more consistent by removing social media logins from Tes.
This means you’ll no longer be able to log in using Google or Facebook to the following Tes Products:
- Tes Jobs
- Tes Magazine
- Tes Ecommerce Storefront
- Tes Resources
- Tes Institute
Why have you removed the option to log in with Facebook or Google?
We’re committed to keeping your account and personal information secure. As part of our long-term approach to online safety, we’re moving to a simpler and more consistent login experience across all our products.
This change is designed to:
- Strengthen account protection
- Give us clearer oversight of account activity
- Enable us to respond more quickly to any issues
Recent high-profile breaches at companies like M&S and Co-op are a reminder that even the biggest brands can be targeted. That’s why we continuously review and enhance our systems — we don’t wait for something to go wrong. This update is just one part of our broader commitment to keeping your information safe.
When will this happen?
Wednesday 9th July 2025
After this date, you won't be able to access the above products with third-party login details.
